What Sets Us Apart

Companion to Founder & Chief Culture Officer Marco Campos
As a Denver native, Marco Campos grew up in ‘humble beginnings’ with his family on the west side of Denver – surrounded by a limited but solid network of supporters who helped him stay on the right path.
Marco was 7 years old when he began to learn the ropes of hard work, entrepreneurship, and ethics through his grandfather Bill, a self-employed welder. Those lessons carried through as he made steps towards building his dream.
As a first-generation college student, Marco graduated CU Boulder, College of Engineering with high hopes, but limited resources. He knew he wanted to run his own company and, at 30, he left his job to start Campos EPC in his basement. He began working from a list of previous clients, creating strategic partnerships that would help him grow organically. After some time, the business began to take off. The Campos Family of Companies is now a multi-national leader in energy.
While the company enjoyed its success, Marco never forgot his roots in West Denver or the mentorship opportunities, summer bridge program and scholarships that made his first step easier. As a result, Campos Foundation was created to carry these programs and opportunities onto the next generation of leaders.
Over 5,000 students a year are impacted by the STEM labs, scholarships and summer bridge programs that Campos Foundation supports.
